China University Student Yacht Design Award was pioneered in China for the most influential designs in yachting and was created and promoted by Heysea Yachts since 2010. Its aim is to promote marine culture, encourage and cultivate design talents of yachting industry with continuity, commonweal and branding. This originally-national design is already internationally known now.
The design award has been held successfully in consecutive seven years from 2010 to date and the momentous significance and influence has already been beyond the original intention. This award is the indicator of bold innovation concepts. The entries are becoming more mature and are praised by the global yachting experts not only the uniqueness but by showing the development tendency and R&D direction of future yachting industry.
This design award has attracted the eye of a thousand of groups from hundreds of universities worldwide in these seven years including Harbin Engineering University, Wuhan University of Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University, China Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing Institute of Technology, Tsinghua University, Hong Kong Baptist University, Polytechnic University of Milan and University of Genoa etc.
The winners of the award are provided extensive and exclusive marketing and communication services to promote the success of winning the award and will appeared on yachting magazines like J yacht, China Boating, Yacht Emirates, Superyacht Times, Asia Pacific Boating, The World of Yacht and Boats; Portals of Sina, Netease, Sohu, Tecent; Newspapers of Jiangmen Daily, Nanfang Daily and Southern Urban Daily and Wemedia of Face Book, Twitter etc. Furthermore, all the contestants will have chance to tour at Heysea Factory, sea trial and enjoy the beautiful scenery locally for a further knowledge of yachting industry and Jiangmen City.
